Hello,
I wanted to share an update on this issue. After some experimentation, I found a solution that worked for me and might be helpful to others facing a similar problem.
If you accidentally delete the footer and can't restore it, try placing a banner block in the place where the footer used to be. The system automatically recognizes it as a footer when one is missing. This workaround helped me get my website back to its normal layout.
