The Community database functionality relied heavily on customisation, Smart IT performed a full review of these customisations to fully understand and be in a position to upgrade them. Part of the migration from Community to Enterprise allowed Communicourt to take advantage of new apps and features that they previously had not used. Smart IT helped them streamline their business processes through the use of previously unused applications and additional customisation. As part of the upgrade Smart IT fixed a number of bugs that had been unaddressed by the legacy partner, this returned functionality that they had previously lost. Odoo purchase and inventory have been utilised for not only procuring and managing the products used in the repair and refurbishment manufacturing process but also tracking the stock of donor wheels and tyres that are loaned to customers whilst repairs are carried out. To assist with accuracy of customer addresses and vehicle details two bespoke apps were developed by Bizanova: 1. A postcode validation to retrieve address information using Loqate (loqate.com, formerly PostCode Anywhere). 2.
