Good day everyone.

Did not found a official article about pricing when a customer want to install the software on its own server.

Here the scenario:  a small business with about 5 users needs to register sales, purchases and manage very basic inventory.They do not have a reliable internet connection so the cloud is not an option.  They would like to have a enterprise grade software and rather to pay perpetual licenses instead of monthly fees.

Is there any kinda of business model on odoo that fit on this scenario?  I guess they would need at leats 3 apps x 20 USD each som they will have to be paying about 60 USD per month and I assume since the installation will be local there is no additional fee per number of users.

Hi Josye,

Odoo is a suite of open-source business apps, ie copyright holder provides the rights to study, change and distribute the software to anyone and for any purpose. So you can download the software and install it in your internet server or on your local network without any kind of expense for the licence fee.

If you need any kind of technical or functional assistance you can get a consultant or you can contact a partner from your location and they will help you to fix your system as you want. Only for the customization and their service you need to pay.
