We're getting a weird issue since we upgraded to V17e related to datetime widgets.

We've been using them to log some quality related operations and verifications in manufacturing orders that are time sensitive (i.e. A quality control supervisor date and time of verification for quality check measures that were taken less than an hour prior). 

In V15, the widget would automatically get the current time with a precision to the minute. Since we moved to V17, the widget seems to round down or up the current time to the closest hour, without much logic (sometimes, 10:15 will round up to 11:00 while 10:45 will round down to 10:00). This often causes us to log a verification "before" the measures were taken and would cause us problems during quality audits. 

I've tried increasing the precision up to seconds (0 minute precision on the widget) but the default time when opening the widget still rounds up or down. 

In the meantime, I've tried training staff to take the time to actually set the current time, but they have multiple years of habit built in to just click the field and save it. Furthermore, they have to fill those fields sometimes hundreds of times a week, slowing the process down.
