I have plugged a brand new posbox into my router via data cable (yellow and green lights are solid on either side of the data port on the posbox).
I have plugged a working TM-20 Epson printer into the posbox (via usb) and left it for hours... no status receipt ever prints as described in the installation guide.
I can see posbox as a wifi option.
I have tried unplugging and turning off everything and it makes no difference.
Any ideas??
make sure the USB cable / data cable is plugged before starting up the posbox , if everything goes well the you will receive the ip / mac address if nothing happens then you can connect the posbox to monitor and log in to the OS default username : pi default password : raspberry then type ifconfig and see the ip address (you can make it fixed ip address) then from your pc browser go to ip:8069 you should see the posbox configuration page and see all attached devices / status for each one .
