How can you make your profile public again in odoo forum? Why default is private?

Question

As explained here [1] , most of the forum users profiles, recently became private.

I would expect that you would be able to make your profile public through your preferences (by going to your account and choosing 'my preferences') but this is not working.

I tried changing '*Not Published*'

to '*Published*'

but it seems like my choice is not saved and every time I open my preferences I still see 'Not Published'.

We plan to fix this for all users at once. It was an issue in our migration process, we are working on it.

*Bitnami images come with SSL support already pre-configured and with */*a*/* dummy ... never post or disclose */*your*/* server's SSL */*private*/* key in */*a public forum*/*.  For more detail   go to my website:
