I'm currently facing a critical issue with my Odoo.sh server and would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving it.
During the implementation of Odoo on Odoo.sh, I encountered a problem where the server is unable to ping any external IP addresses. I have attempted to ping well-known servers like Google and Cloudflare, but there is no response.
Here are the details of the issue:
Odoo.sh Server: I am using an Odoo.sh server for my implementation. The server is up and running, and I can access the Odoo instance without any problems.
Ping Test: I have tried to ping various external IP addresses, including major servers like Google and Cloudflare. However, there is no response from the server.
Network Connectivity: I have verified the network connectivity and confirmed that the server has a working internet connection. Other network-related functionalities seem to be functioning normally.
IP Configuration: I have used the ifconfig command to check the network interface configuration on the server. However, I couldn't find any issues with the IP configuration.
Firewall: I have checked the server's firewall settings and ensured that ICMP traffic (ping requests) is allowed. I even temporarily disabled the firewall, but the issue persists.
Given the above circumstances, I am puzzled as to what might be causing this problem. The server's inability to ping external IP addresses is hindering certain functionalities and integrations within Odoo.
