Hello Odooers

Odoo v16 Enterprise self hosted.


I had been sending quotes via odoo to clients to sign and accept, they just opened the email clicked on the button, they reached my instance, and all worked nicely.


Last week I installed ecommerce to test it, and now i noticed that when the client receives and opens the email and clicks the button, they go thru a  redirect link, which im guessing is an Odoo service, and they they end up at a login page.

This had not happened before and i do not know how to fix it. 

I need the clients to see their quotes, without a login.


All suggestions pointers and ideas are welcomed.

Nope, still with the issue. I have noticed that I am working from company1.domain.com and the button to view the quote redirects to somewebsiteonodoo.domain.com , im not sure why yet. So we are not sending quotes via Odoo until we can fix this.

Hi again,

Seems that Odoo natively only sends a tokenized link to the email that is in the Customer field.

The same issue here, 

Seems that the system is sending the object without a Token. I will investigate a little bit more and keep you updated.

I am having exactly the same problem with Odoo 17. Could someone help please?

i need to update this.


Fortunately, after and update and a couple of website changes, it started working again.

Unfortunately i could not detect which change did it.  So the bug is open or intermiten.

I cant belive this has not be answered after 6 months 
You know i am a partner myself and every few months one of my clients sends me saying they get redirects to a login page. 
But whats even more annoying is that sometimes it happens other times it does not.
