Project Overview:
Technova partnered with Zactic to upgrade their Odoo ERP system from version 16 to version
18 as part of their digital transformation roadmap. The upgrade focused on enhancing inventory
accuracy, improving traceability, and aligning the costing structure with operational realities.
We implemented lot and serial number tracking across all stockable items, which significantly
improved inventory traceability — a critical need for their automotive and equipment parts
business. In parallel, a new costing method was introduced, enabling more accurate financial
reporting and valuation.
To ensure data integrity, all relevant historical inventory data was migrated and re-entered
using the updated structure. This enabled Zactic to maintain continuity in their operations while
adopting the enhanced tracking and costing features of Odoo v18.
