Tahel (Crisis Center for Religious Women and Children) is a specialized non-profit organization in Israel dedicated to providing culturally sensitive support for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence within the Orthodox and Ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) sectors. Founded in 1993 by Debbie Gross, Tahel operates as one of the ten branches under the umbrella of the Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel (ARCCI). The center aims to break the wall of silence surrounding abuse in religious communities by combining professional crisis intervention with deep respect for Torah values.
