Doing some testing with our inprocess implementation. We have a metal part that we sell that is purchased from a fabricator, 3 week lead time. We receive the parts then ship them to a subcontractor to be painted with a 2 week lead time. Once received back from our painting subcontractor we finish package, we allocate 1 week for this.
We'd like to try using MPS to forecast and schedule orders. However it seems that the MPS will not work with a BOM type of Subcontract.
Additionally our order quantities from our fabricator must be in quantities of 240pcs
Is there a way to allow the MPS scheduler to also work with subcontract BOMs?
