Hi Srushti,

If you want to change the standard Odoo product labels, you should make changes with your additional module.

You can find the product label templates in the "product" module in the file by the path "addons/product/report/product_product_templates.xml".

So, you can modify the standard Odoo product labels by your custom module, it's a proper approach.

If you would rather not develop your own module, you can take a look at special solution to create and design own product labels in Odoo via UI, without coding.

The Odoo Product Label Builder allows you to create own product labels with barcode, QR code, prices from pricelists, and so more. You can print these labels from product list, and from stock documents with this additional Product Label Stock app.

Yeah, customizing product labels in odoo's inventory can be a bit tricky. First off, you’ll wanna dive into the reports section and look for the inventory label reports. It's not always obvious, and sometimes it needs a bit of hunting around by looking for files named like report_product_label.xml in the Odoo addons directory, but if you've got odoo studio, that can help streamline things.

Why’s label customization important? Well, it's not all about aesthetics. It’s about getting your operations to reflect what you actually need in the real world. I remember dealing with a similar thing with another client. We used cleverence solutions and it made a huge difference - going from something clunky to streamlined, it was a game-changer with its offline capability and easy mobile integration.

Ask yourself: are you after quick label tweaks or something beefier? If it’s the latter, Cleverence's features would be a smart pick, especially if you’re aiming for precise, real-time updates and seamless ERP integration.
