I'm looking to implement Amazon S3 as a file storage solution for my application and wanted to hear from anyone who has experience with it. If you've used S3 buckets for file storage, I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences and best practices.
I also need help in configuration do Odoo default support it or do I need to do extra for it?

I have the same question.
It seems to be the go-to option, especially if the filestore becomes significantly large.
However, partners are warning me for higher data-transfer costs (which I find strange within one datacenter), and lower performance.
Does anyone else has experience with this?

S3 bucket is good for static file storage not for dynamic files, you have to use EBS or EFS which is faster and designed for dynamic files, I used S3 for file storage it was too slow that's why I recommend you to use EBS or EFS.
