Hi we use Odoo for creating an affordable meal kit service.

People order their meals, and we use a Kit as a Bill of Materials for the ingredients to create a meal.

So people choose meals in the webshop, then we use a purchase order form that totals all the needed ingredients to purchase the ingredients with our supplier.

Then we orderpick them per client. The problem is that the orderpick form doesn’t aggregate the products. So if someone's orders two meals with onions in it. We get separate orderpick lines. But we need one line with says. 2 onions for this order.

How can we solve this? Or improve this form? May be an easy fix would be to make the order alphabetical so all the onions are grouped and also take the ‘omschrijvng op overdracht’ line out.

All help is appreciated. Regards Lennard

Thank you for your answers. I am looking for a way to aggregate the for instance onions from different kits. May be some one has a idea for this?

Is there someone who used another way to implement meals with ingredients that we orderpick.

Or may be some has an idea how to change / create another report that leaves out the kit grouping.

Regards Lennard

If you use multi-step picking it is possible to consolidate by using fixed propagation of procurement group

the below tutorial illustrates this context in wave picking

I know there are two types of production. One the BoM is strict and the other is you have possibility to add or remove additional raw materials.  You may have used the strict one,

I recommend to check the documentation if kits are strict only or not.

It does not aggregate as it is part of 2 different kits. It would aggregate if there are multiple qty of same KIT
