Dynamic tree view in odoo 12

Question

Hello,
I saw the feature of showing/hiding views dynamically in odoo 13 through a drop down, to enable this feature all we need to do is to set optional = 'show' or 'hide' depending on your case.
However we couldn't find this feature in odoo12. does anyone know a module that makes this possible?
