Ask for PDFs from event attendees prior to event

Question

I host training courses with my company, for which there are minimum requirements for participants. I manage these with the Events app.
I would like to be able to ask for my participants to upload proof of certifications (ie. ability to upload a PDF) prior to the event so I can verify they meet the requirements.
I do not see this as an automatic option. How can I add this?
