Task dependencies

In this course, you'll learn how to use task dependencies by practicing.

When handling a project, tasks often need to be performed in a specific order (for example, in a construction project, you would have to build the walls before painting them). Task dependencies feature allows the creation of connections between such tasks. Until the first task is completed, the second task in the dependency sequence remains blocked.

Managing task dependencies is the easiest from the project Gantt view, where you can create connections between tasks with a couple of clicks.

Start by navigating to Project → Configuration → Settings and activating Task Dependencies.
