I just installed a Bitnami image of Odoo 9 to play around with it. I was kind of expecting that it would have the same look and feel than the online demo of Odoo 9, but that is not the case. For example, I am missing the icon app wall that is displayed on the home screen in the online demo.
Is it possible to get the icon wall of the online demo for the installed version? Thank you!
There are three main editions of Odoo v9.
Community - freely available
Online (Hosted SAAS) and Enterprise - fee based
The image likely has the Community Edition - only the fee based editions have the Purple UI with the App Switcher front page.

Your answer makes sense even though I am surprised to find visual differences between the different editions. I am guessing that this is covered under New Design in the edition comparison.
