What Happens to remaining leaves of a certain period in timeoff

Question

I have allocated 10 days paid leave for employees from apr 2023 to mar 2024.
If one of the employee taken only 5 days leave what will happen remaining 5 days leave.
Is it added to the next allocation.

Leave allocations without an end date will stay available for the employee to use until they are consumed.
For instance, if an employee is given 10 days of paid leave without an end date, those 10 days will be available for use indefinitely until the employee takes leave for a total of 10 days.
