Hello !

I am trying to give the possibility to the user to pay an advance payment when paying for the event registration.

For example, on the page /shop/payment, it would be possible to select "pay entire amount" or "pay an advance payment" before clicking on the Pay Now button.

However I don't understand how payments work in Odoo. Am I supposed to create a new field in Sale Order model to keep this advance payment, or is it better to create an invoice for that purpose ?
