I received an email with a link to reset my password. when I click the link to reset my password, I get an error message: "invalid token" how can I now reset my password?

In my opinion, if you opened that link after a few days, the link to reset the password may have expired and you have to request a new one. This fix worked for me though.
Did you check the web.base.url parameter under "Settings/Technical/System Parameters" (version 9.0)? Can you provide more informationi (log entries)?
