odoo opening inventory

Question

We are migrating to odoo from another software and the setups are completed as of today. Our physical inventory count is as at 31st July 2021 and I want to post these inventory now to 31st July (back dated). is there any way I can achieve this?
and what is the best way to enter opening inventory to odoo (the quantity input should also pass amounts for inventory valuation account too)

Hi,
1. Go to the inventory.
2. Navigate to the "inventory" menu and select "Inventory Adjustments".
3.Click on the "Create" button to create a new Inventory Adjustments".
4. In the adjustments form, fill in the necessary details like the adjustment            date,location, and any additional information.
5.Under the "Products" tab, add the products for which you want to post backdated inventory counts.
6. Enter the correct quantities for each product based on the physical count as of 31st July
