Module base_export_manager (https://www.odoo.com/apps/modules/9.0/base_export_manager/) allows you to set who can export records from a model. However, this feature does not exist in the version for v8).

The v9 works in v8 (after a few minor changes to XML) but, after adding the .js from v9, nothing happens concerning the limitations on exporting.

Has anyone adapted this module to v8 so that exporting can be controlled?
