so i was on odoo 10 before and the automatic purchase order creation put order lines in the same PO untill it was confirmed. But on odoo 14 it seems to create a new po for every day even if a open po already exist for that vendor. Is this a missing checkbox somewhere in settings or how do i get it to not split them?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Contabilitate
- Inventar
- PoS
- Project
- MRP

With developer mode activated, check the Buy route propagation, the default is "Leave Empty", that will add products to open POs, however if set to "Propagate" a new PO will always be created.
I would just clarify that you need to go to "Inventary->Settings->Rules->Buy".
Hey.
But it already is set to "Leave empty". And still it splits them :-/
If the problem still pesrsists I have found that:
- Having set and unset minimal quantities at the purchases line info does create 2 separate PO.
So for example:
Product A and product B can be bought both at the same vendor, but you set a minimum quantity of 30 ut for product A and that vendor. When you need product A and B at the same time and the propagation is triggered 2 different PO will be created, one for products with minimum qty and another with products which the minimum qty is 0.
I don't know if that is your case. Have you installed any custom modules that might be interacting with the Purchase module?
