I’m working on setting up Odoo18 for a client whose business involves sales representatives managing specific customers. Here’s the setup I’m trying to achieve:


Each sales representative has a list of customers assigned to them.

I want to link these customers to their respective sales representatives to track all sales made by each representative.

When creating an invoice, I need to select the sales representative responsible for the sale, so I can generate reports showing the total sales for each representative.

Could anyone guide me on the best way to configure this in Odoo?

Specify a salesperson for a contact in the Sales & Purchase tab.

With this each time a sales order is created for this contact the sales person on the SO Other information tab would be updated 

The salesperson will also be updated when an invoice is created from the SO

Reports to Track Sales by Sales Representative
  • Salesperson Report:
    • Odoo has built-in reports for sales performance. You can navigate to the Reporting section under the Sales app and generate reports that show the sales totals by each sales representative.
    • You can filter by the Salesperson and view the total sales generated
