How to check if line in sales order does not have Cost price higher than Unit price?

Question

Is there any way how to check during confirming sales order if Unit price of any item is lower that Cost price?  We are using Odoo V8.

Simon,

You may want to look into the module 'Margins in Sales Orders'. This module allows you to check the cost price next to the unit price on ever sale order line. It will also calculate the total sale margin of every sale order.

UPDATE:

If you already use this module then I guess the standard Odoo functionalities can't match your requirements. I recomment you contact an Odoo partner (unless you're a partner yourself of course) and have some small customization done.

Thanks Timoty, I already have this module installed and is working as you write above. I am just wondering if there is any way to check it automatically (pop-up window with information for example). Our ordes sometimes have 100+ items and its easy to make a mistake.
