Is it possible to use odoo as a frontend application only by integrating the user interface to an external API for data access? I know that odoo uses it is own ORM, but I am hoping if there is an option.

Hi,
Using api's/connectors you can get data to the odoo database(postgres) and using odoo ui/front end you can show it to the clients. Is this what you looks for ?
