Category total

Question

Hello,

I have set up different product categories in which we have labour and parts, i would like to display the totals of these categories in the invoice. i.e if we have billed 300 from lines in the labour category and 450 in parts is there away we can total display this total in the invoice?

You can use the module sale_layout. With this module you can personnalize the sale order and invoice report with
separators, page-breaks or subtotals (and manualy group by product ctegory). This module requires customization if you you want to automatically grouped by product category.

Thank you, that really did help. However is there a way to predefine what category to go under in the product creation screen?
