I would like to add the ads txt code of adsense in the root domain name from the site header but without success, it turns out that the revenue from adsense will be lost if I do not add it

give me a solution; and note that I use the free version

Hi,

If you're using the free Odoo Online plan, unfortunately, you can’t upload files like ads.txt to the root domain directly.

However, there’s a paid Odoo module called "Ads.txt Manager" that lets you manage the ads.txt file even within the Odoo system. You can find it by searching for:

"Ads.txt Manager" on Google or the Odoo Apps website.

Hope this helps!

Assuming that by "free version" you mean an Odoo One App Free database hosted by Odoo Online, you cannot edit the DNS zone for the *odoo.com subdomain. However, you do have the option to use a domain that you own:

https://www.odoo.com/documentation/17.0/applications/websites/website/configuration/domain_names.html

Google also offers other verification options, such as an HTML tag. The Odoo Website Editor allows you to inject custom code between the head tags (Theme tab > Advanced).
