Add custom field on sale orders — Odoo 14 entreprise

Question

Dear All,

I’d like to add a custom field on sale orders (i.e. our internal customer reference).

The field already exists on the partner form (x_codeClient), but I can’t add it on sale reports even with Studio installed.
I’d like to do it without touching the built-in code.
I suspect I can do it by creating a field on sale quotes, that would inherit properties from partner_id, but I can’t manage to do it on myself.

Any idea how to do this ?

Hi,
In the sale order form you can add a related field of partner using the odoo studio, once you add a related field, the field will be coming in the field from the partner model, based on the selected partner.

To add related field from the user interface using the studio, see this: How To Add Related Fields Using Odoo Studio [1]

If you are not studio also, still you can add related field using the developer mode, for that refer: How to Add Custom Field From User Interface [2]
