Option 1: Use "Modifiers" in PoS (Best for Simple Combos)
Odoo v18 allows product modifiers, which let customers pick options like sides and drinks while keeping the meal under a single price.
Steps to Set Up a Value Meal Combo:
1️⃣ Go to Point of Sale → Products → Products
2️⃣ Create a New Product called "Cheeseburger Combo"
- Set Product Type: Consumable
- Set Sales Price: (e.g., $10 for Cheeseburger Combo)
- Set Product Category: Food / Burgers or Value Meals (if you want a new category)
- Enable "Available in PoS"
- Under Modifiers Tab (New in v18), select:
- Burger Options → Cheeseburger
- Side Options → Fries or Onion Rings
- Drink Options → Coke, Sprite, etc.
3️⃣ Repeat for Hamburger Combo and set its own price (e.g., $9).
4️⃣ Save & Test it in PoS!
🔹 How it Works?
- When selecting a Cheeseburger Combo, the cashier will be prompted to choose a burger, a side, and a drink before adding the combo to the order.
Option 2: Use "Priced Optional Products" (More Control, but Slightly Complex)
This method keeps each product separate but applies a discount automatically.
Steps to Set Up:
1️⃣ Create a Cheeseburger Combo Product (same as above).
2️⃣ Under Sales Tab, add Optional Products (Cheeseburger, Fries, and Soft Drink).
3️⃣ Set a Combo Price lower than the sum of individual items (e.g., if a Cheeseburger is $6, Fries $3, and Drink $2, set Combo at $10 instead of $11).

- When the Cheeseburger Combo is selected, it suggests adding the related items at a discount.
Option 3: Use "Discount Rules" (More Flexible, but Requires PoS Discounts)
If you want to apply discounts automatically, you can use Point of Sale Promotions (under Sales → Promotions).
Steps:
1️⃣ Go to Point of Sale → Configuration → Promotions & Discounts.
2️⃣ Create a New Promotion called "Burger Combo Discount".
3️⃣ Set Condition:
- Buy 1 Cheeseburger + 1 Side + 1 Soft Drink
- Discount Applied: Fixed price for the total combo.
4️⃣ Assign it to your PoS session.

- If the cashier selects a Cheeseburger, Fries, and a Drink manually, the discount applies automatically.
