If you are in odoo v18 , you can press on the "gear" icon of the stage you would like to send Whatsapp to access the setting, and choose automation
Create a new automation then "add action" then choose WhatsApp
In odoo v17, you can do the same using odoo studio or "server actions"

i have tried in v17; server action & studio but send whatsapp cant configured.
