Hi, 

in the "Time off" app, we have some allocations that are not full days, for example, the employee gets 2,08/month. That person is now able to take a time off of 2 days (and if they want to ask for 5 days, they will need to send 3 request (2 - 2- 1). Moreover, they will never be able to ask for the day generated by the 0,08 parts. 

By asking in the support, the answer was: 

If the total available days "Paid Time Off" is composed of several allocation requests this will happend:  

When a leave request is encoded, Odoo looks for an allocation that :

- has the same number of available days as those requested

- has a validity period corresponding to the leave request

If these two criteria are not met, the error message " Could not find an allocation of type Paid Time Off for the requested time period." will appear. Indeed, in version 15 Odoo is currently not able to sum up the different allocations even if they are made for the same time off type.

We are currently working on this issue in V15 to see how we can change/improve this behavior.

I would like to know how other companies are handling this kind of errors, and if someone knows about the status of the " currently working on this issue in V15".
