I use analytic accounts to specify my different lines of business, I want to see my P&L for the year by analytic account. In P&L reports I can choose which analytic account I want to filter by, but cannot get to see a comparison (having each column show data for the different analytic accounts).
1. Activate Developer Mode.
2. Accounting --> Miscellaneous --> Journal Items
Group by what you want (Company or Analytic Account):
Save the grouping as a Favorite:
4. Accounting --> Configuration --> Management --> Financial Reports
Open the report where you want to use the Filter, and enter the one(s) you want available:
