Talawiet Organization for Development

Talawit Organization for Development is a national voluntary organization established in 2005 and registered under the Voluntary Work Act. It is officially recorded in the Register of Organizations under No. (69) for the year 2010.

The organization operates in the fields of health, education, agriculture, and basic services (including water, electricity, and others). Talawit implements social welfare and capacity-

building programs, with a strong focus on the growing rural development needs—particularly in basic services—aimed at strengthening service delivery capacities within rural communities

in the eastern states.

The organization addresses development challenges through poverty alleviation projects, advocacy for rural community issues—especially those concerning women and

children—and emergency humanitarian response, while linking relief efforts to rehabilitation and recovery processes. Talawit also advocates for persons with disabilities, supports their social reintegration, and contributes to the achievement of sustainable development.
