In Odoo 16 once the quantity to produce is updated, the picking is automatically updated as well. In your case it would be possible if you upgrade, because indeed, in the version 15 it is not possible in standard.

To propagate the Sales Order (SO) and stock picking quantities when editing the Manufacturing Order (MO) quantity to produce in Odoo 15, you can follow these steps:

1. Go to the Manufacturing module and open the Manufacturing Orders menu.

2. Locate and open the MO for the finished product you want to configure as Make To Order (MTO).

3. In the MO form view, click on the "Edit" button to modify the quantity to produce.

4. Modify the "To Produce" field with the desired quantity.

5. After changing the quantity, click on the "Save" button to apply the changes.

6. Now, Odoo will automatically propagate the updated quantity to the related Sales Order and stock picking.

7. To check the updated quantities, go to the Sales module and open the Sales Orders menu.

8. Locate and open the related SO for the finished product.

9. In the SO form view, you will see that the ordered quantity has been updated according to the changes made in the MO.

10. Similarly, to check the updated quantities in stock picking, go to the Inventory module and open the Delivery Orders menu.

11. Locate and open the related stock picking for the finished product.

12. In the stock picking form view, you will see that the quantities have been updated based on the changes made in the MO.

By following these steps, you can propagate the updated quantities to the Sales Order and stock picking when editing the MO quantity to produce in Odoo 15 for a configured MTO finished product.
