In Odoo 17 and earlier versions, the “Mode” field allowed you to choose the allocation method:

    By Employee

    By Department

    By Company

    By Employee Tag

However, starting from Odoo 18, the “Mode” option has been removed from the Time Off Allocation form.

In Odoo 18, the allocation flow has been simplified:

    Allocations are now only created per employee.
