When I create a Down payment in odoo, it will just show one product called "Down payment of x percent" like this:
However, in order to be more transparent to the customer, I would like to show all the products like normal to the customer like that
How can I do that?
You can change the "Invoicing Policy" of the products to "Ordered Quantities" and then make a regular invoice. The lines will be set as invoiced and you can still deliver the products.
Note that this change affects all the sale orders of that products.
