I am looking to insert a table (row, column -- like excel) for entering fields in a form using Odoo Studio. Kindly let me know how will I be able to do that

Select "Edit List View" and then on the left hand side of the screen there are three tabs. Select "View" and then there's a drop-down called "Editable" where you can select either "New record on top" or "New record at the bottom" (either will work).
In older versions of Studio you need to do it manually in the XML:
<tree string="Products" editable="top">
i have tried your approac in odoo studio 16 but it is not giving me a table
