I am using ODOO Enterprise version 12.

How can I set price lists by using parent categories so that the rule applies to all child categories, unless another rule is made relating to a specific child category of the parent category?

Parent Category: Beer

Child Categories:  Beer/IPA

Beer/Porter

Beer/Stout

I want to use the Parent Category of 'Beer' to apply a price discount to all of Child Categories.  In the event that the discount does not apply to Child Category 'Beer/Stout' I want to supersede the original rule with a separate rule and not apply the discount for 'Beer/Stout'

I have the same issue - I need to inherit all the children from the parent - this seems like a logical expectation that if I include the parent in the category selection from the pricelist page, it should all all products in the pricelist parent to the lowest level child record - that was my expectations. If it doesn't do this, why do you allow me to have parent / child classification - makes no sense.
