How can I generate a Customer Statement for a prior month?

I have added the module Accounting Customer Statements and it works great but
I cannot get a statement for the previous month only for the one we are currently in.
What am I missing or how should i go about getting complete statements for previous months included.

Please provide a few more details. For example, which module version you’re using and how you’re generating the statements.
