I am trying to schedule an Activity for another User and I see this message.

How can I resolve it?

There are two things to check


1. Verify they have access to the App containing the Document you want them to act on:

  • Lead Document --> CRM
  • Purchase Order Document --> Purchase
  • Product Master Document --> Inventory


2. Make them a Follower of the Document:




(2) is only required if you receive the same error after checking that (1) is resolved.

If this is happening because you implemented the Notes App, you can also archive the "Only followers can access a sticky notes" Record Rule and edit the Domain Value of the Notes Window Action to "[('user_id','=',uid)]" and the User will auto-follow the Note when they are assigned to the Scheduled Activity.
