Hello, 


created custom fields in a form that is linked to a project. This form creates a task in Odoo project. How can we ensure that these fields are included in the task created? For example, can you ensure that the name of the company in the form is entered directly in the task in the customer field? Same thing for the date entered in the form which must correspond to the date of the task. I work with Odoo 18.

Hi Jean-Christophe,

this is partially possible in the standard system.

If you are in the edit mode of the corresponding website, click on the required field and the edit menu for the field will appear on the right-hand side. In the ‘Customise’ area, you can set the type of field in the ‘Field’ section according to the action selected above, for example the start date of the task - the content entered will then be used as the start date in the task created.

However, there is the problem that the customer must already exist in the system for the name to be adopted.

There is a separate action for this - but it would have to be executed first.

Perhaps you could consider using the ‘Create Customer’ action first and refer to the ‘Create Task’ as a redirect after successfully submitting the customer data - in my opinion, this would then work.
