In our company, we have to put a reference number when creating quotations. Generally this reference number will be previous ref number +1(eg: XYZ00890,XYZ00891,XYZ00892....) . Now we are entering that by manually. How to make this automatically? Is it possible?

Hi,
you can use sequence for automatic ref number to set sequence go Settings >> Technical >> Sequences & Identifiers >> Sequences. Set sequence.

I created a sequence with a prefix and a suffix. But still i didn't find how to apply this when creating quotations.
Its your customize module ? or openerp existing ?
Quotations are existing in open erp. sales>sales>Quotations
Go Settings >> Technical >> Sequences & Identifiers >> Sequences open Sales Order edit it and do change what you want.
