I am working on adding a custom label for my products, specifically for lot/serial numbers, in Odoo. The goal is to have an individual label size and be able to print it as a ZPL format.

Here is the current setup I have:

1. I created a new label under Settings → Technical → Reports with the model name stock.lot and the action type ir.actions.report.
2. The name of my custom template is stock.custom_label_lot_template_view.

Now, I would like to add this custom label to the "Print Label - Lot/Serial Number" option under Manufacturing Orders so that I can print this label directly from the frontend.

My question is:

• Is this the correct way to approach this, or is there a better method to achieve this integration?
• How can I ensure that my custom label shows up in the "Print Label" dropdown in the manufacturing order view for lot/serial numbers?

The reason I am not using third-party apps for this is quite simple: none of them are able to generate the GS1 barcode, which is a critical requirement for my product labels.

I would appreciate any insights, suggestions, or guidance from the community on how to proceed.
