Hello, I'm trying to delete a register from my sells. I've read that since Odoo 10 the module account_cancel is integrated already, so I didn't install it, but I did check that in fact is available at the addons folder on my Odoo 11 install. So, I enable developer mode and give myself "Extended billing features" on my user, then go to accounting and then to settings and journal. There, I choose any journal but none has the checkbox to enable the "allow entries to cancel each other". I'm kinda tired of trying, already read over 50 posts, re-did the same steps 10 times but nothing...

It does need to be installed.

When it is, and you active developer model, you will see the checkbox here:



You cannot DELETE an Invoice that has been validated, as it has consumed a number.  Even if it was validated only for a brief time, it was a legal document and you should keep a record of it as a cancelled Invoice.  Odoo is well designed to prevent the deletion of the Invoice.

Hello and thanks for the answer, so I checked and right now I've got the addon installed, checked on the github and it's the same as I got on the system, I've got odoo 11.0-20180401, updated yesterday night, and at the addon folder the account_cancel is present and got the same files as the git. So, assuming the account_cancel plugin is right, I then enable developer mode (tried both standard and with assets) then go to Accounting, Settings, Journals and select Customer Invoices, I've only got the option to Group Invoice Lines, not sure why... Thanks for the help.

So, I need the deletion just because I was testing a few not real invoices, I think I can manage to work by using the different numeration for the rectifying invoices but I'd like if I mess up once again to be able to delete them. I guess the right way is to only validate the invoices when they're good, but, once again, I was testing features. Thanks.
