What do you think is the best way to setup a 3D-Printer which consumes ABS material to produce products? It only needs time and ABS material, but the amount depends on the the product to print.

I'm a bit confused about workcenters, machines, cycles and hours... I have no idea how to apply these things to a 3D-Printer.

Does someone have a good idea or has successfully done this already?

Cheers, Marcel

A 3D printer is a workcenter. Cycles and hours change depending on the design to be printed. Why do you want to use the mrp_operations module? I think that with the mrp module you will be able to keep track of the material consumed in each print.
