From the sale-order if you need the manufacturing smart button. you need to enable the Replenishment MTO. in odoo 17. you many not see that option.

 Hence, I request you to Go to Inventory>configuration>setting. Under Warehouse session. you can see the storage location and multi-step routes. enable that and save the changes.

Now, In the configuration menu you may see the Routes option. click on that and filter with Archived. You may see the Replenish on order (MTO). Select and Unarchive the Route.

Now the ​Replenish on order (MTO) option will enabled in the Product Master on Inventory tab.​

Once, you check the option. When you create the sale order. it will check the inventory and raise the manufacturing order. and the smart button will be available for you in sale order.
