If I open Trial Balance and open one Accout (let's say bank account or Funds or whichever) and open the Accounting movements it shows me some columns for each  accounting transactions: date, registration credit debit and the Account ... the account  that's quite odd according to me because its the account I just opened to check things, and abviously the account are all the same with values on debit or on credit ... I wonder if there is a way to have shown also the code of the accont debit /credit that conterbalance.

   date     account       debit     credit      amount

6/10/25 001001 Bank  001002 Cash        82.00 €

Something like this: I would like to have along with that account bank that is in debit for 82€ the respective account in credit without having to enter each transaction.
Is this understandable?
Thanks a lot! :-)

Hello Andrea, thanks for your question! Here's how you can approach seeing the offsetting accounts in your accounting views.

The standard Odoo view focuses on the transactions related to the specific account you've opened, which is why you only see that account listed. To see the offsetting accounts, you'll need to adjust your view slightly.

Option 1: Journal Items View: Instead of viewing the "Accounting movements" directly from the account, navigate to the "Journal Items" view (Accounting > Journal Items). This view shows all transactions and includes columns for both debit and credit accounts.

Option 2: Group By: In either the Trial Balance or Journal Items view, use the "Group By" functionality. You can group by "Journal Entry" to see all the lines of each transaction together, which will show both the debit and credit accounts involved.

Option 3: Custom Report: For a more tailored view, you might consider creating a custom report in Odoo Studio or with a custom module. This would allow you to specify exactly which fields you want to see and how they are displayed.

Why This Happens: Odoo's default views are designed to provide a focused view of a single account's activity. To see the full picture of a transaction, you need to look at the journal entry itself, which contains all the related accounts.

Both Credit and Debit values do not appear from each account because the filter only shows the selected account's journal items.

You can access the Trial Balance Report to see each account's debit and credit on a given period:
