I click on set then I update the field counted quantity to 0 because the item is already sold but it's still showing available as quantity 1 but forgot to validate the delivery first so now it shows not available. How can I return it to quantity 1 again to show available so I can validate the delivery? Now the location shows Virtual locations/Inventory adjustments and it doesn't allow me to put 1 on quantity. Please advise, thank you.

Virtual locations are not "stock on hand" - not in your stock.  

To add product qty not in stock: Go to Inventory->Operations->Inventory Adjustment. Click on new, and a line opens to enter location, product and qty. Click Apply. And you are done.

Btw: Click on SET is to accept that current qty = to existing qty. If that is not the case, you just enter counted qty and Apply.

Click on the 3 little bars right beside the done quantity and change the done quantity on the window that pops up.

This is generally not good practice to do this. Consider making a Return.

There may be situations where certain adjustments should be made in the inventory based on the physical stocks available in your company. In order to ensure efficiency in inventory management, the changes made in the inventory should be reflected in the inventory records also.

In Odoo, you will get the Inventory Adjustment platform that assists you to make adjustments in the inventory records based on the availability of the physical stocks.
